How can therapy help me?

Therapy offers a wide range of benefits, whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply seeking personal growth. Working with a therapist can provide support, guidance, and tools to help you manage life’s difficulties more effectively. From anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions, therapy creates space for healing, understanding, and meaningful change.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of effective therapy. Your privacy and trust are always respected and protected. What you share in session stays private, creating a safe space for open and honest conversations. This is outlined in a written agreement called Informed Consent. You may choose to allow your therapist to share information with a physician, attorney, or other provider, but this can only happen with your written permission.

By law, confidentiality may be broken only if:

  • There is suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult

  • You are at serious risk of harming yourself or others

  • A court order requires disclosure

Do you offer evening sessions?

Yes, based on availability.

What if I need to cancel?

Please provide 24+ hours notice.

What to EXPECT

Therapy is a personalized experience, tailored to your unique goals and challenges. In each session, you can talk about current life events, past experiences, and reflect on progress or insights since your last visit.

Some clients come for short-term support around specific issues, while others seek longer-term guidance for deeper growth and lasting change. Most therapy is scheduled weekly to maintain momentum and consistency.

To get the most out of therapy, active participation is key. Your therapist may offer suggestions to support your growth between sessions—like journaling, reading, or setting small goals.

Therapy is for those ready to make positive changes, explore new perspectives, and take steps toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
